We recommend Carnival Cruise Line to a wide range of guests, including first time cruisers, families and those looking for plenty of onboard activities such as the world’s first roller coaster at sea,
Carnival has had the reputation of being the party and “booze cruise” line, however they have been shedding this reputation in recent years, particularly with their new Excel Class of ships (Mardi Gras, Celebration, Jubilee)
We find Carnival’s selection of complimentary fast-casual dining options some of the best, including Guy’s Burger Joint and Shaq’s Big Chicken (currently on select ships)
Carnival will tend to cater to a pretty wide demographic and will have a more laid back vibe then some of the premium and luxury cruise lines. With a wider demographic than other lines, we believe that your experience may vary a bit more than other cruise lines which cater to a more focused demographic. Other family friendly lines would include Royal Caribbean, NCL and Disney.
Carnival Cruises primarily sails from US based ports, however also sails from a number of international ports. Select ships sail out of Spain, Australia, London, Rome, Singapore and Portugal.
